Avatar The Way of Water Review
It is not surprising that Avatar: The Way of Water is a visual masterpiece which makes use of amazing 3D technology and rich vista. Throughout the three hour long course of the movie, the visuals never cease to amaze us. Much of the Way of Water shows us the aquatic life and the creatures that inhabit there which is almost breathtaking in every scene. The film’s most special effects show us the Tulkun- a flying whale species which is capable of communicating with the Na’vi.
Cameron’s eye for perfection in every scene can be easily felt as the movie shows us emotion and action together. Written by Cameron and Planet of the Apes writers Ricky Jaffa and Amanda Silver, compared to the first movie, this one has characters that have many layers and a complex storyline.
The movie sequences stretch for a long time but there is never a dull moment. The most exquisite part is the use of technology which is on full display here. The lush green forests of Pandora look breathtaking and so does the ocean and the creatures that inhabit it. The Sully family loves each other and the focus is more on the whole family rather than just Jake and Nayitri. Colonel Quaritch returns as the main villain but there is nothing new that he offers except that he is now more aggressive and greedy.
The stunning visuals deserve to be seen on the big screen and not from the comfort of your home. With 3 more sequels on the way, Avatar the Way of Water lays a beautiful ground for more amazing stories on the way.
